Devra is the Director of Human Story at the firm. She works with clients to uncover their stories of suffering, pain, and loss that resulted from their injuries and the traumatic events that caused them. She is the devoted wife of the firm’s founder Gordon Levinson and has been supporting
the firm since it began in 2003 in the roles of ownership, client relations, marketing, human resources, jury consultant, mentor, and countless others.
Devra majored in Psychology at San Francisco State University where she earned Honors, she has been Gordon’s wife for thirty-three years and counting, and she has raised the couple’s three children to adulthood. She lovingly raises the couple’s children, anchors their home, and quietly functions as the firm’s rock.
Devra has attended every single jury trial conducted by the firm since its inception and brought her considerable understanding of human nature to the roles of witness preparation, jury consultant, and trial strategist.
Currently, her main focus at the firm is discovering our clients’ backstories of human suffering necessary to successfully achieve justice by conducting in-person or Zoom interviews with each client and advising the Trial Team. She brings her abundant natural gifts of empathy and listening to enhance our clients’ experiences as they complete their journeys from tragedy to closure, and to develop the non-economic damages – classically referred to as “pain and suffering” – parts of their cases essential to successful case outcomes.
